At the presentation on March 23rd, several citizens wished to know the number of building permits pulled over the last few years. The numbers are as follows:

2005 – 62

2006 – 60

2007 – 47

2008 – 37

2009 – 1

*By the end of the 1st Qtr. In 2008 the County had issued 6 permits for new single-family dwellings, in comparison, as of March 24, 2009, the County has only issued one for the first quarter of 2009.

The Study Group was formed by Resolution #2007-019 of The Board of Ouray County Commissioners at the April 9, 2007 commissioner meeting.
